Wave Control: When I lane (I usually go mid, but this works for ADC too), I'm looking to push fast and roam. I rarely freeze the lane unless it's just beyond my turret range and I know my jungler is coming to gank. If there are no incoming ganks to my lane, I feel like it's generally better to hard shove the wave to the enemy turret and then roam. You're not missing much farm, since you wouldn't have been able to farm under their tower anyway without being overextended. You force your enemy to choose between farming under their tower or following you. Also, if you get a good gank off yourself, you can often tilt the enemy team against your lane opponent for not stopping you.
Jungle Kiting: Kiting in the jungle won't save you any significant time or health but it helps you become more difficult to hit with skill shots just in case that particular camp is warded and someone is gunning for you.
Ganking Lanes as a Jungler: I unintentionally touched on this in the previous paragraph. The "Just in Case" attitude. This "just in case" attitude is what allows you to react in time to enemy plays. For example, if you see that your top laner is overextended, and he still has a chance to win his lane (like he's not 0-3 in the first three minutes of the game), you know he's likely to get ganked by the enemy jungler. Just in case he does, you should already be heading towards the top lane for a counter gank, especially if you can't see where the enemy jungler is. If you get a good gank off, then camp that lane hard. You know the enemy laner will be looking to redeem himself, so he will like be aggressive and overextend. Just in case he does, you're still there. Gank him again and again and make him tilt.
Also, if you're the jungler, do yourself a favor and mute your laners. You can't be in three lanes at once, and ultimately, it's up to you as the jungler to decide which lane to gank, not your laners. It's not your responsibility to win their lane for them.
Predicting the Enemy Jungler: Suppose you were at the bottom side of the map, and you see your toplaner getting destroyed by the enemy jungler's gank. Obviously, you should already be running up to the top side to see if you could possibly help. But halfway there, your toplaner dies. Don't turn around and resume farming just yet. Look at the enemy jungler's health. If he's low, but not low enough to recall, he'll probably do another camp. Just in case he does, you should head towards the camp you think he'll do. If he's there, great, it's a free kill. If he's not, then just take that camp instead and deny the enemy jungler that little bit of experience and gold.
Predicting the Enemy Carry: If you see a large wave of your minions building up, you can bet that one of the enemy team's carries will head over there and farm the wave. Just in case he does, you should be waiting nearby, ready to ambush him.
