RIP team builder.

The new champion select looks cool and everything. But I gotta say, I miss team builder. I like to be able to hop on and know that I can play with my main (gp) and not have to get forced into another role when Im trying to practice the role I want to work on. The first five games I played I picked top lane for my primary role and, jg for my secondary, for the first four games I was assigned jg. I played through it, but I feel like this new system is gonna make more people want to dodge. Why not still leave team builder as an option?

I agree and upvoted. I just wanted to play mid but kept getting support. So many trolls on the boards right now though, I posted something similar and its getting downvoted for no reason.

Set your secondary as mid. You'll get too before you'll get mid lol

I recommend you master a second role. My main role is mid lane my 2nd would be top i would love to play mid but if i dont get it at least i get to play my 2nd best role while b4 you was stock with pick order so for example if you was last pick you was screwed and had to play the left over role like it or not. I do think the new queue is better in this aspect

And it was the best "get in there and learn this Champ" option. This was a terrible, terrible move.

Things i liked about Teambuilder

1:) you got to pick 1 lane... thats it

Things i hated about teambuilder

1:) Nothing but FOTM picks 2:) Long waits 3:) Inability to see matchup and build accordingly 4:) No bans 5:) Bot lane was very hard to fill (adcs and supp would leave if you didn't have one or the other) 6:) Can't get kicked because someone doesn't like your pick

The only downside you can really say about the new one is that the champ select takes a little too long but overall still quicker them teambuilder (unless you were support)
