Enchanters would probably be healthier of Forbidden Idol just got reverted.
Forcing enchanters to build a stat that only scales with the least interesting part of their kits probably wasn't a good idea. When enchanters could consider getting items that actually gave AP, they would get a little boost to all of their abilities. Currently
and
do literally nothing for your base abilities except your shield, while
gives an AoE heal to champions that already have heals/shields in their kits.
Heal/shield power as a stat homogenizes enchanters into just being walking shield/heal pumps. It would be much more interesting and healthy for the game enchanters were encouraged to buy items like the old
and
and items like
,
, instead of boring reactive cockblocky shit like
every game.
I missed when playing Soraka I could viably opt for a more high risk/high reward AP/utility hybrid build that offered more versatility via utility and damage than just being a walking fountain. Nowadays there's basically only two AP/utility hybrid items in the game, and both have passives that just passively reward you for shielding.
It's like someone thinks shielding/healing people is the only reason people pick enchanters.
