Given his lore, it'd be neat if he gained passive stats/gave passive stats to allies based on the number of people in combat around him, and was rewarded for causing or being in big melees.

Generally I'd like to see him clarified to someone who gets punished for getting caught out, but being engaged on while actively... well, engaged, to either monsters or with a minion wave to become more risky.

Again, from a lore perspective this makes sense: It would also help tip his usefulness in teamfights better without necessitating him becoming directly stronger.

It might even be plausible to lower his stats or rebalance them accordingly while expanding upon the niche he is (supposed to be?) in.

Another thought is to give him sion's old ult (aoe heal to allies).
