How do you guys feel about the item changes?

Just wondering how everyone else feels.. I'm really on the fence myself.

On one end, the support items I think are a cool little idea. Definitely different and unique. The items showing your use of them is also nice, as well as the way people are being rewarded after game, the quiet hero's so to speak.

But certain changes... make me look back to the joke that riots balance team is a bunch of monkeys throwing darts at a bunch of changes on a wall, and whatever the dart happens to land on is what gets changed. It's like no intelligent thought process went through many of these changes...

Before I go into it.. I want to explain something quick... It's the champs I percieve as most toxic, and broken in terms of kit. This doesn't mean they can't be won against, it doesn't mean they can't be beat. It just means,whenever I play against them, they snowball so damn easy, and get fed so hard, it requires 9/10 times, 4v1 to take them down, and that is completely reliant on their team being such potatoes, that we can actually pull it off.

Tryn, Darius, Shyvanna, Nasus, Cho gath. etc.

These are all super steroid snowballers as I call them. STupid easy to get ahead, with either true damage, or something to keep them alive while tanking insane amounts of damage, and dishing a crap ton back at you while doing it.

It's these champs, that this change buffs, while nerfing everyone else.

Guardians Angels... Now gives armor, atk damage, and its passive... While the over all item was nerfed to be fair, the fact it doesn't give MR, etc. as an all around tank item, or all around good item for any champ.. It's now directly focused to "Carries".

I read this as ADC, but in all honesty it only buffs these OP toxic steroid snowballers even more by adding more dmg and tankyness to their kit, and giving them a second chance after they die with the insane sustain, dmg, and tankyness they already get.

The cost differences for life steal items and crit items, as well, with crit items dropping in price and life steal going up. While yes adc's benefit from the crit price drop, so do again the steroid snowballers. The Armor penetration items dropping in armor pen, making the adcs job harder to push through the armor stacking champs like Darius, etc. Meanwhile the all the health on all these items dropped, netting you 100's of HP less in a full build, once again allowing R to auto win Darius to snowball and push through with his true damage ult.


While some of these changes do benefit adc's, and other champs, the changes to mages weren't much, they mixed around a few items and ultimately did nothing, adcs got thrown a bone, then charged 3 in return, while the already toxic, anti fun champs to play against are getting buffed across the board.

Personally I think they should just remove True Damage all together. To have True Damage as something that bypasses damn near everything is a joke, and while you can argue "But shields stop it!" 1) That requires you to have shields, not every champ has it, 2) the shield items have been nerfed multiple times, and won't stop a darius ult by any means or any true damage in the game to be honest. and 3) would require you to pre emptively pop your shield, in which case any true damage champ will wait till it fizzles out, then use their true damage.

It used to be Darius's and other high dmg, high sustain, high crit, high tanky, bs bleed "omg I have everything in this kit luls gg" champs counter would be to fight 2 or 3v1 and stack HP, but now that's getting even less possible, while their armor is ramping up with all these items, and the HP for everyone else is dropping significantly, allowing them to roflcrit you to death faster, or true damage delete you.
