I just haven't heard or seen anything exciting since the release of Zoe. Perhaps it's because I only play mage/mage supports, so other champions don't interest me. But also no fun game modes...bleh. When in the world will riot be doing star guardian skins and the star guardian game mode again??? That gave me life.
Meanwhile, its a fine time to be an MF main
Try playing Mid's with atypical play patterns, like Ekko or Aurelion Sol. It keeps things fresh.
Its not Riot's fault for not making you excited about everything they're releasing. I'm excited for Kai'Sa and the new MF skin myself.
I feel like we just had the star guardian skins happen, so they'll probably focus on other skin lines for a while. Zoe has some buffs coming in 8.5 so she won't feel awful to play.
If you want to spice things up why don't you pick up a new mage to play?
