Support items

Can the support items be changed so u can still get gold after the quest has been complete. As of right now once u finish it you are left in an awkward state because you can't farm since you will have a gold reduction and your support item will on give 3 gold every 10 seconds. Could an item like relic shield work like it did in the past where you can still get relic charge in late game. If the point is to slow down the support from getting gold then could you just make the cooldown charge for the item longer.

And while we are at support items, can we get a real tank support item? Like reverting relic shield to giving health and maybe like 5 armor?

I've found, just playing support (note that I mostly play Senna if I'm playing support, build full crit, and play like an ADC, including taking kills, so I end up with a lot more gold than most supports), I've found that I've got about half build by the time my support item finishes. But the real kicker is that I've got about 80% crit due to her passive and can just farm champions the rest of the way there.

The couple of times that I have played other champions, I have found it extremely awkward that the gold item stops giving you extra gold in the final form, meaning that you can only really earn 1000 gold per game from it, where before by the end of the game, supports would have earned 2000 gold or more from their support item. However, I can understand why they do this, because that's now 2000 gold that you don't have to invest into the completed gold item. I do still think that it should be a higher gold amount that it shuts off at, but I can see the justification for the shut off.
