Cooldown Pings not working

Hi everyone, I know this may sound like a noob question, but how do you use the cooldown pings. Several months ago I was able to use it by Ctrl+A, but I can't anymore. I tried to Google it, and many of the posts say that you need to use Alt+Click, the thing is I bind my Attack Move with Shift+MB2, is that the problem, also if it is, how do I fix it, and is there a way to customize the cooldown ping as you wish?
