So with the upcoming changes to jungle in this preseson - are there any plans to make Rift Harold a better objecive?

Right now he just there, waiting to be replaced by baron. The only time i see him taken it's when one of top lainers is already feed and Harold's buff makes his snowballing even harder. Poor Harold cant compete with cool dragon kids from down river :(.

*Herald

I'm not apposed to calling him Harold from now on though.

Well, R.H. has two major problems going for it. One, it's tough to take (which Riot is fixing) and two, the buff is linear in terms of usage and only benefits one person. Riot's said in responses how they don't want it to be equal to dragon, so it ends up being a stale "oh, they got dragon, guess we'll take R.H. to balance it out."

I understand why they don't want to give it direct power like with dragon, and since Herald only spawns once now, the buff has to be SUBTLE. Something that doesn't have much benefit early game, but slowly gets stronger as the game goes on. It gives the enemy time to react if they get it, reason to contest it, and no immediate power to the team that grabs it so they don't stomp completely like they would with Baron.

They already said they would be tweaking Herald, probably his damage.

He is extremely helpful in pushing the snowball or balance in your favor. If you put the buff on the right teammate, then it works very well.

As a jungle main I get Rift Herald at least once in every single game. It's a good objective with a fair amount of benefit. Glimpse of the void lasts like 20-30 minutes or something crazy like that. He is a little beefy though.
