Runic Echoes Rework Idea
This idea comes from a long thought out process on why it feels so bad to do a ap jungle at the moment and seeing the new interation of runic echoes. While I feel it is a step in the right direction with 8.10 or 8.11 I feel it needs some work. After a while of thinking I tried to figure out why the other work. That is simple due to it's interaction with the other item they interact with.
Warriors - While it doesn't give you anything directly to interact with cooldown reduction is a huge bonus that sets you up for you next item like a black cleaver, tiamat, even triforce because the raw ad scaling of the item.
Bloodrazor - is the same thing but instead gives you 4% health shread which scales really well into on-hit builds that includes a rage blade, nashors, Wit's end and the like.
Cinderhulk - just in general scales really well with health because of the 15% bonus health you get from it.
Runic echoes itself doesn't interact with anything other than itself and take a considerable amount of raw ap to work and while yes mana is an issue when clearing the jungle and ap champion are more reliant on their spells to get through it.
Proposed fix instead of making the item a mana refund machine why not give it the cinderhulk treatment so it feels like a more complete item? Give it something to scale with and scale off.
Here is my suggestion on what I think the item could look like.
Enchantment - Runic Something +35 Ability power +5% bonus Ability power (This would also include whatever the current mana refund item is)
