Clarification on how grades are earned.

I want to start this post by prefacing that I'm not upset about getting an average score for a really good game I just want to understand how this works since I am focusing on champion mastery right now as a way to stay interested in the game. I just finished a game as Cho where my teammates were Xin and Teemo (3v3 obviously) solo queue normal. My whole team did well,

Xin went 7/4/8 133 CS and least dmg to champs clocking in at 8,383. Gold Earned: 10,966 Score S- Teemo went 5/1/10 with 104 CS and second most dmg to champs with 15,813. Gold Earned: 8,387 Score S- Cho'Gath went 12/0/7 95 CS and most dmg done at 17,539. Gold Earned: 9,957. Score A+

I was playing Cho'Gath.

My question, is as follows. How do I earn a better score on Cho'Gath? Is my low CS overshadowing my 0 deaths and high kills? Is damage dealt to champs not as important as gold earned? Is Cho'Gath a highly successful champ in 3v3 and therefor more is expected? More than Xin or Teemo? Are the enemy players skill ratings figured into the rating?

I've seen other posts on this subject but never really gotten a clear idea how someone is supposed to earn a good score. I've seen posts claiming that farming is more important than kills, gold earned is the highest ratings booster etc. Is there truth to this?

I'd love a Red response but any player input on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Final details: The game lasted 19:32 I killed 2 turrets, Xin killed 3, and Teemo killed none. Xin killed the only inhibitor I was top lane, Teemo was bot and Xin was jungle. I got first blood. Xin and I took nearly the same amount of damage distantly followed by Teemo Our opponents were Yi and Kennen top and Morganna bottom, they did not jungle.

You need to preform in the top 2% of all players playing your champ in the role you are playing it on in all categories.

I don't understand how people haven't gotten this yet you are being compared to everyone and you gotta go top 2% or higher to get S+ I imagine S and S- are 5% and 7% maybe.

its cs. generally speaking, you need to average 6cs/min (AND have 55% kill participation or something)

As a support I noticed that 5 kills = almost automatic S. If I got no kills or only 1 or 2 I need to have few deaths and a lot of assists. Also the length of the game doesn't seem to be considered. Having the enemy team surrender seems to prevent from getting the higher grades.
