Why Gangplank orange can cleanse Urgot ult?
I can understand if orange only removes the slow effect, but cleanse the damage also... What is that magic orange? can cure cancer? Does this shall be a BUG?

It can also shatter magical prison and instanly thaw him when he's frozen solid. Cuz vitamin C, where the C stands for cleanse

Because Urgot's ultimate is coded as a surpression, which can be cleansed by QSS. QSS and Oranges are pretty much identical in how they function. So that's that.

Because Urgot ult is a suppression. Suppressions can be cleansed by oranges and QSS.

He kills you when he pulls you into his vortex
but he needs to actually pull you
so if he shoots the chains that suppress and drag you, and then you cleanse that suppression, you will escape.
I've personally escaped urgot ult using QSS on jinx once. So I think it is intended.
And yes, it means there is another way to avoid the "guaranteed" death.

seems like an oversight since there are a lot of post-cast-damage or whatever that scurvy snacks cannot remove
i never really noticed--urgot is pretty darn good against GP either way haha

I don't get what you mean by this thread? GP's orange skill is to heal him and remove CC on him. It doesn't remove debuffs, which Urgot ult is classified as (as well as Zed's and Fiora's ult). GP can cheat Urgot's ult before Urgot recasts it IF he heals beyond the threshold needed for Urgot's execute recast but if he already sent his chains for GP, it doesn't matter if he healed too late or not.
He's going inyo the meat grinder.
