Not being able to connect and deranked while team remaked

I'm not sure if this is a glitch or a thing, but I got deranked cause I couldn't load into my ranked game while my team remaked. Cause, I don't find it fair, how I lost my rank just cause my team remade and I couldn't connect and show off my abilities in the game. Please, someone, answer this, cause I'm triggered af.
