Ranked leagues

Hey guys! I am new to these ranked things leagues or whatever you call I just wanna ask I am unranked and I want to ask how can I get ranked, I played over 7 ranked matches and I won only 1 of them, when I will get ranked? And what is an ELO??

You need to play your 10 placement matches which will determine what tier and division you will be placed into. There are 2 factors that determine that:

The result of the games (Victory or defeat)
The elo of your team and the enemy team. Elo is a rating system made by Riot to determine your skill level and place you with teams/opponents accordingly. When you first start playing Ranked, it is pre-calculated by your wins/loses in normal games and then gets recalculated by your performance in ranked games. Note that your performance in the game does not affect your rank or your elo at all. All that matters is if you win or lose the game.
