Can we adjust Vel'Koz's icon just a *little bit*

Okay, this has been Vel'Koz's icon for the longest time. You have a good look at his big, purple eye, but something's been bugging me about it.

This black space. It's just there, a black void (no pun attended). I know other champion icons have simpler single-color backgrounds so you can clearly tell which champion it is; I'm fine with that. However, this is just glaring.

I'm fine with this. But these don't stick out as badly as Vel'Koz's icon. Could we give him some purple in his background, like so? He is the purple people knowledge eater, after all. I rather like Vel, that's why I'm asking.
