Funny, ADCs say it is impossible to kite, while melees say it is impossible to close in. Which side is right?

Kill them before your team mate dies

after you win your lane, share kills with your team, let them get those last hits in and stop being greedy. If you cant get shots off in the back that means you are way too far back and if thats the case you are making it 4v5, but if you're kiting 2 of them in the back, your team has no excuse to lose a 4v3

A major way to stop the enemy team from diving onto you and killing you instantly is to get inside their head. When you feel they're starting to really burst you down without much counterplay/ability to kite. just buy a banshee's or a GA, It tricks people subconsciously into believing that you're unkillable/hard to touch so they will start to focus the rest of your team instead. trust me, I use it all the time and it works.

These days, "kiting" sadly means using your instant reposition (Flash/Valkyrie/Essence Shift/etc.) to dodge enough burst to live. Actual orb-walking is barely even a thing anymore, with every single melee on the planet revolving around instant gap-closer and burst em play.

You need better positioning. An ADC with good positioning, like in the LCS, should be able to survive simultaneous Lissandra, Vi and Gnar dives, with a team comp that has some amount of peel.

Depends on your skill, and your team's skill and thought process over all.

Is your Jungle or Support willing to peel for you? Or do both of them go to the front line? Or do both of them sit back, and let the enemy just engage and rape everyone else still in the end?

Ideally you want either or to peel for you, IE; Draven/Leona, Vi Jungle, Gnar top, Orianna Mid. Vi will most likely be your team's engage with the Ori ball, and Gnar following up with a bounce in as Mega-Gnar, Leona laying down her ult for a Wombo, then just peeling for you.

The Vi could also be an ideal peeler, as she has two knock ups that work very well and the pursuers probably wont have a big chance of atleast killing you.

I appreciate all the comments. Here is my predicament as of late....the other team is ahead by about 2-3k gold...I am 7-0 (vayne)....they have a top rengar, and shaco jungle...my team, havng silver map awarmenss, runs headlong towards baron to check whats going on...I am just rezzed from another death now 7-2....

A.) follow them knowing I am going to get jumped by rengar/shaco (like the other 2 times in the team fights) B.) stay way back by my turret while they check to see whats going on C.) Stay in the middle of them awaiting said gank attempt D.) go to another lane and just keep farming C.) rage quit

I have been doing (A)...I try to communicate with my team why we lost the last 2 team fights...but im doubtful they are even reading the chat anways...keep In mind my top and mid fed hard and my jungle died from execute 2x.

My thinking is, stop playing adc all together cause something tells me ADC is pretty much dead right now in terms of carrying out of silver.

thanks again,
