New Matchmaking

I know they tried to fix the queue and honestly, it has not been as bad, but I played a game yesterday where my entire team had varying flex ranks of Silver. The other team? Sweet jesus they had 3 Plats, a Gold 2, and a Silver for flex ranks. That was about 200 MMR points higher than my team. Why does it do that? I am just wondering
