I just won a game but lost my promos

I was 1 / 1 going into my third game and I was doing really well, but I disconnected at 26 minutes. My internet was disconnected from the ISP side and I wasn't able to reconnect to the game until 32m. As soon as I get back, we push mid and win by 34m. Even though we got the win, it counted as a loss on my promos because I was gone for 8 minutes of the game.

Is that really fair for a first time offense? I don't have a history of leaving and my internet is normally solid. This was a freak accident and it didn't even affect the game. I don't feel like I should lose my promos because of that.

Personally, I don’t think it’s fair. But, Riot can’t track every instance where your WiFi dies. Also, you did (even if not on purpose) leave for 8 minutes. In that time, your team could easily have lost the 4v5.
