What's the point of Shaco being no longer allowed to stack boxes on top of eachother?

Hello, everyone! For curiosity's sake, what was the reason for not letting Shaco's boxes stack? It's not like it was a strategy that was used often at ALL (At least from my experience.) I can understand Maokai, because his saplings move. I can't understand Shaco, whose boxes are stationary and have a much smaller range of activation.

And before it is said, no, I do not main Shaco.

Just, the most I've seen it being used for is if someone's going AP Shaco and AFKs in a bush for 3 minutes just throwing boxes down.

I know that it's been a while since this change, but because of all the talks about Shaco, it really makes me wonder.

It was a really fun thing to mess around with in certain ways, and it wasn't really too viable a strategy, especially in mid to late game.

Considering that Jhin's traps can stack, Heim's turrets can stack (Not a very effective strategy either; just fun for blowing up any unsuspecting victim!) I don't see why Shaco's boxes shouldn't be able to.

Because shaco boxes are invisible, CC you, and deal cumulative damage. Maokai saplings are not invisible. Jhin traps can be easily walked out of. Heimer turrets are not invisible.

Teemo shrooms are invisible, but they do not deal cumulative damage, you can only take damage from one shroom at a time. That is not the same for shaco boxes.
