These are changes for Yorick going to live in Patch 7.14Yorick As a Yorick main , In my opinion the changes for passive are pretty bad because Yorick depends ONLY in his ghouls (+ the Maiden after lvl 6), and nerfing them that leads to a weak Yorick ,without any damage in early game. I think that they should let him how it is now with the passive , what do you think guys?

This is a open subject , so everyone can express their opinions

Going from 10 to 2 dmg is rather extreme. Riot says they they want to keep his strong early-mid and yet they nerf his early to 20% of current dmg. And remember that apply to each of his ghoul. Shouldn't it be nerf to 6 or 8? What if ghouls will hit after E if they deal 0 dmg?

Honestly, with how unreliable the ghouls feel I think the exchange is worth it. I've had plenty of times where I've landed E and only one out of four ghouls get in there to help while the others get stuck on a cannon creep.

Light Maiden changes are also appreciated, just need more work on her AI so she doesn't charge into stupid situations as much.

Yorick needs more power outside the laning phase. his Q needs more sustain and his E should summon ghouls based on his ult rank. HIs E's only use is to tag someone for his ghouls to kill and if he don't have any ghouls it's useless.

Can someone tell me what I am missing. I love the thought of Yorick but why play him? Playing against a smart opponent, Yorick's kit seems easily countered. Then again, if I play against unaware enemies, I can have my laner and their jungler try their luck and give me a double. But I can tell they don't know what they are doing or they wouldn't have even tried.

Hmm I don't play Yorick as much as a main, but I do like the AI changes and Ult changes. Also like that they're trying to buff his late game a little. I think the goal is to make him less like Pantheon in terms of power spike. Though with the ghoul damage nerf, would be nice to buff their HP then since a single AoE spell whipes them out. At least that always happened to my ghouls when I played him.

I wouldn't say I main yorick but he is my first choice when it comes to top lane juggers. While the ghouls are the reason he is strong early, this damage nerf seems like such overkill with little compensation. I don't think the increase of the AI reaction range on his E will really account for such a huge damage loss.

Hurts jg and support yorick more than top yorick. In jg and support you need to make the few ghouls you get count and this guts his early damage and clear. The ghouls feel good right now.

This change is literally going to make support and jungle yorick unplayable.

Riot why are you punishing yorick players because people don't know how to play against yorick?

As an avid Yorick player, the minimal base damage loss from 10 to 2 doesn't even matter that much at lv 1 outside of the jungle. The AD scaling they get means they are still hitting hard enough early, but the most important benefit is that they will now do damage upon landing their leap, which is huge, because right now they are much less consistent with their damage even when you DO land the E.
