Agree, Premades usually ruins MMR which cause games to unbalanced. For example allowing S5 with bronze MMR and G1 with plat mmr is fcking retarded
What would that Fix? You can still encounter plenty smurfs who are playing solo. So all you did is increase queue times by moving all duo players to flex.
Also I thought 1 bad player can ruin a game harder than 1 good player can carry it, so isn't a smurf who is duoing with someone that's boosted higher than he should be actually an advantage for the opposing team?

I never duo queue, but if I did I would be able to eliminate one potential shitter from my team and replace them with someone similar to my skill level.

Probably because the only way this game is fun is if you play with friends.
i duo because it is a lot more fun to play with a friend instead of alone also it helps me deal with tilt so i can flame them aloud instead of my teammates in the chat.
Another thing to point out, not all duo partners are looking for someone to boost them, they might also just want to play with a friend as it is more enjoyable. Flex rank means nothing, the game isn't competitive and nobody takes that shit seriously. everyone is just playing there off champions. We can already play flex but we want to play something a little more seriously
Sorry but no. People who actually have friends prefer to have solo/duo.
I think that they should just make the requirements stricter. I duo'd bot lane with my support cousin (both silver 1) and that was the only way I was able to make it out of silver. Without being able to duo, solo queue would be actual RNG hell.
I understand the pain though.
But another thing we should be focused on is why riot allows unranked players to play in a game where another person is doing their promos.
