About the Elise changes, I fear what they are doing to the W. It feels... empty...

1st of all, I'm not QQing, I dont have PBE acess and I'm not complaining the changes itself. Simply I'm just asking, doesn't the W on spider form feel a bit empty? I don't know, but only giving an attack speed buff... It feels empty, it could have something else. Like extra spiderlings damage, or a tiny slow that couldn't stack, I dunno... I'm just giving random ideas btw, I don't have any idea that what could be balanced or broken... but it simply feels empty for me as a spell.
