Lets talk about Riot removing ques from the game

Within the span of i believe 6 weeks (correct me if im wrong in comments) Riot has removed TWO ques from the game. That may not seem like a big deal, but when there is only Blind Pick, Draft, Ranked, Dominion, Aram, Twisted Treeline, and Team Builder to pick from as of those 6 weeks ago, THATS A PRETTY BIG DEAL. 2 out of the 7 ques are gone. They may not have been the most picked, but thats still staggering to think about. Just because they are minority and somewhat niche options, what exactly is the reasoning for this? My theory is that they are worried once solo que comes out, que times may become even more of a problem than they are now in ranked. Good intentions, but its awfully implemented. I personally dont care much for dominion, but taking away team builder was just an outright attempt to FORCE people that liked it to play ranked due to the similarity of their matchmaking, except for the fact ranked makes you pick 2 roles rather than just a champion and a role, not to mention it is of course ranked. Alot of people have drawn conclusions from Riots statements discussing the removal of dominion and deducted that Twisted Treeline is very likely going to be removed as well, which seems only logical given the fact that 2 ques have been chopped so quickly. Im fairly positive ARAM is safe due to how easily balanced it is with Summoners Rift, but still, this is a worrying trend. Riot, if this thread gets somewhat popular, all i want you is to answer why you are doing this.
