LP Loss in High-Ranking Games

I find it really difficult to climb sometimes bc I can play really well (A+ - S rank) during a game and still lose because 2/4 of my teammates fed really hard during laning phase. Could Riot implement something to remove or lessen LP loss for games that you played extremely well? Perhaps take more LP from those on the losing team that didn't manage to earn an A or S rank. Its frustrating to lose a match due to unskilled teammates. I think an LP loss prevention for high ranking games could really make the entire situation a lot less frustrating since if you lose LP then it'd be almost entirely your fault. There would be no room for blaming teammates for loss of LP then. What do you think?

and while we're on the subject, preventing LP loss for games in which a player went AFK would be great. (I realize this could be abused by some players, but I trust Riot to implement something like this in a way that's fair and can't easily be abused.) Once again taking more LP from the "problem players" would be a nice solution to this I believe.

P.S. Any Riot employees that stumble across this, I'd love to hear your feedback/thoughts on this.

Well if you consistently perform well then not only are you likely to win more than 50% of your games, your mmr will increase, and your mmr is what determines your LP losses/gains. So if you're consistently performing well, you'll end up with a high mmr relative to the average of the division, and so your LP losses will be low, and your LP gains high.

That system makes it so even if you do get the occasional afk or feeder, you're not significantly hurt in terms of LP. Keep in mind that statisically every time you have a feeding teammate, you'll also eventually run into an opponent feeding just as much, and what ends up mattering on average is those 'fair' games where your performance makes the difference.
