There are quite a few bugs and balance issues that I'm concerned about.
So, I have an issue with a certain champion.
. I swear Kindred's q has to be the most stupid ability. It's a dash which targets nearby enemies and hits them with feathers, if it targets them. There are so many dashes in the game where someone can use it and then
to almost guarantee hitting the dash effect, Kindred's q doesn't shoot out if you flash in the middle. Then we have the targeting. I often see
using their target abilities, e for ez and q for fi, on those who are in the fog of war. I experience the Fiora targeting trick all the time when I play her, constantly killing people when they walk into a bush. Just recently watched an Ezreal in an ARAM do it to my teammate. Sadly Kindred is treated different than all of the dash flash combo'ers and target nearby enemy people. I think that maybe the q needs to apply on-hit effects because it just gives so little damage at every stage in the game compared to other dashes with similar cooldowns
. Additionally the q cooldown while w is up isn't decreased by cdr which makes me
. The amount of time it takes to change your mark is pretty dumb. Not talking about the cooldown, but the clicking on someone to mark them takes way too long, so it feels like you have to warn the enemy that you're coming from a mile away, while another bounty hunter
gets to gank whenever he wants and get full reward from it. The ult is atrocious when you consider all of the other champions with ridiculously better executes than Kindred's:
. Not to mention other champions with simply better dps than our dear lamb and wolf. One change that I would request is that the ult have a flat hp amount that it keeps everyone alive at, rather than a %, but the amount increases for your allies based on bonus ad scaling.
Next,
. The only thing I want to talk about with this champion is his ghouls. His q does fine damage, his w is fine, his e is eh, and his r is nice. But the way his ghouls work is a
right in the behind. The ghouls die in 1 auto no matter what. "But wait," I hear you say, "Zyra and Malzahar have the same issue, but they do fine." BUT HIS GHOUL'S HP SCALE WITH YOURS. you can have 4k hp and they'll be like "peace" if a any champion so much as touches them. Not only that
can ult to buff her plants survivability, and
can suppress you so you can't kill them while they pummel you. Ghouls the most flimsy of "beastmaster champion's" beasts, but
whole kit is built around them.
Next is a certain item.
is an odd item. The most recent of patches featured a nerf to the armor and a buff to its auto damage blocked. It also featured a text along the lines of, we want you to look at this item and say "nah that's for tanks." TANKS! Come on, the only ones who truly benefit from an auto damage blocker are bruisers. Tanks build items like
or
to block auto damage. The ninja tabi change just makes all bruisers into unkillable almost full damage built beasts, since many of them now sport
and
and other health+ad items.
... Hey why need a support when I can heal myself for my entire health bar with a non-skillshot, and shield myself for my entire health bar while I'm at it. I mean come on, this should get on more people's nerves. Her passive is Jhin's 4th shot on her 5th, but she doesn's have a hard attack speed limit and it's magic damage. Her q fully heals her if she acquires
, which almost every single Kai'sa rushes. Her w did 135 magic damage to me rank 1 level 1. Her e gives her so much attack speed that at level 5 I witnessed her with 1.56 attack speed with none built, for the record I was Kindred in this game where I saw this; I had a zeal and a dagger and had 1.03 attack speed after using my q. Kai'sa is just really strong with all of the mixed damage and self-sustain. Literally
and you can just build whatever the hell you want for the rest of your items because you don't need any damage on top of that, so why not add a
to get full use of her passive and make her invincible.
Triumph sucks. 12% of missing health restored is a little too much. It should either be 8% at most or a flat amount, so tanks don't run it.
Riot's been looking for something to do with
this handsome fellow for a while when it's not that much. Make it so lifesteal is 33% for his aoe q. Make windwall have hp so it can't eat literally everything. Make it so if he ults someone his q goes on cooldown after the ultimate animation is done so he doesn't get free and easy damage on top of his toranado and ultimate. And maybe remove the armor penetration on his ultimate so he has to substitute the usual frozen mallet for a last whisper item. And make his ultimate cooldown a little longer, shouldn't have a 30 second cooldown on his ultimate with no cdr. At least 1 minute at max rank, maybe 90 seconds at first rank. I won't doubt that it takes skill to play yasuo, but with the usual build
it kinda takes skill out of the equation when he can have 2.8k hp, while healing through grievous wounds because of his crits combined with bt.
Conqueror is too strong on him. He already didn't build armor penetration, but this is just ridiculous. However this is not what I think should change. Much like with Vi a couple patches ago he should have his base movement speed reduced. Vi has quite the mobility so Riot mad her slower, ok. Tryndamere always builds either two zeal items or 1 and
. On top of this he has a 60% slow late game and pretty decent base movespeed, and often run
. He can do ridiculous damage, he can stay alive for 5 seconds while immune, but he catches up to most everyone he sets his sights on, if you happen to not have a team with enough cc.
I'm getting tired so I'll only have 2 more sections. This section is a quick part about those champions who receive ad from their kits.
. All of these champions have something in common. All of the abilities that give them their free ad have very nice additional effects. We got the monster bleed on Darius, the sweeping really hard to miss ult for Riven, every 2 second true invisbility and 450+ movespeed toward targets for Vayne, a somewhat lackluster 400 hp heal for Tryndamere, a huge range increase with penetrating autos for Twitch, and a huge damage ad siphon for Trundle. The abilities are mostly already decent. What's so bad about all of these meta cahmpions that they need the extra ad. If they are truly that bad without it then buff the ability. Make the bleed do more damage at 5 stacks instead of giving the ad, slightly buff the damage of Riven's ult instead of giving the ad, make it so the Vayne ult gives movespeed around champions like phantom dancer instead of giving the ad, make it so Tryndamere moves faster the lower hp he is rather than give the ad, get rid of the damage reduction for multiple champs hit on Twitch's ult and make the bolts fly faster instead of giving the ad, and maybe make it so Trundle's q siphons attack speed instead of giving the ad. My suggestion for Tryndamere's change kind of contradicts my previous section, but it can be a trade off; reduce his base speed so this change can be made. The reason I have a problem with getting free ad is because I find it to be pretty lazy champion design and lazy balancing to give someone stats in their ability to make it seem like there's more to their champion than meets the eye. Lastly, I neglect to include
here because he trades stats, sacrifices some of his tank stats for ad, UNSTOPABLE, and decaying movespeed, which is good champion design.
Now the last section. Fleet Footwork makes me soooooooooooo mad. Riot, don't act like you were clever including Warlords/Fleet in the mastery/runes tree. I know you come out with my girl/boy
make them op, but proceed to nerf them into the ground, then taking away their w passive and giving it to everyone with warlords/fleet. The only one who deserves that "move around for a while then auto someone for free hp" is Kindred. "But wait," I hear you say, "you can just run fleet footwork on kindred." No ****, but every other adc champion uses it so much better than Kindred which is why it used to scale with level not ad/ap. Just get rid of fleet footwork and return what rightfully belongs to the spirit animal duo. Not like there would be a hole where it was taken out with the addition of Conqueror.
