Why Everone Hates Fiora (And Part of Her Problem)

Everything she does can't be built against or played against. Her Q will autolock onto the nearest enemy champion so the only way to counter that is to bunch up. Her W is instant invulnerability and ignore CC that comes with delayed damage and decent crowd control itself that is enhanced if she gets you during your hard CC cast time. Her E is a basic attack enhancement that slows you so the second attack nearly can't miss. Her R is a point and click debuff on the opponent that makes her gain movement speed around them and a huge damage steroid. If she can pop all of it, she gets a reward of a huge AoE heal. Her passive is % HP True Damage so it can't be built around. She has to work for it, but that doesn't matter much when she has next to the most handicaps in the game. To tie it all up, her base stats are actually very good with above average health per level among other things. Her mana costs on top aren't very high at all for what her spells do.

That is why people hate Fiora and partially why she is a problem right now. She can't be built or played around once the enemy Fiora is skilled enough because it all comes down to what she wants to do in lane. Once a Fiora is good enough, the lane becomes "Survive" instead of "See who can come out on top".
