some has their view points about what a Skirmishers are. here i will make a quick talk and i hope others will join along in this discussion.

So what are Skirmishers? Well Skirmishers, also known as Duelist, are champions with high mobility, high sustain damage that fights around the field. Even though they are Squishy they are notorious with their system called the "Reward System". The Reward System allows them to gain something after completing their own mini-quest, the Reward has it own scaling and most often then not has 0 Scaling off of Items and Runes. Depending on the Duelist's Kit, their Quest and Reward will be set according to it, this example being Fiora's "Riposte" or "Duelist Dance". With Fiora in mind, she a Duelist, and we will use her as an example for how the Reward and Quest.

Category of quest/reward

there are two different types of Quest and Reward types, one is "Major Quest/Reward" the other one is "Minor Quest/Reward". Major Quest/Reward is something that requires you to stand completely still to use a certain ability (For example: Fiora's Riposte), once completed you will do some damage and either gain some health or a soft CC, however if something where to apply within that certain ability then the Ability will either upgrade or gain some more heals from that (Riposte gaining a stun from timing it with opponents hard CC). Minor Quest is a Quest that can repeat over and over again that sometimes scales items (Example Fiora's Duelist Dance), once the quest is complete, it will reward you and the quest will reset after a delay set of time, the difference between the two is that minor quest has a very low CD while the Major quest has a long CD, it is vital to use your Major Quest in the right situation, because that how it is build to be.

When it comes to Skirmishers, they need to deliver a consistence amount of damage, that is their role, and with their kit and lifesteal from their builds, they should not only survive the fray of the battle field but also be able to shred even the most tankiest of champions. the perfect example for being known is Skirmishers are Fiora The Grand Duelist, Yasuo The Unforgiven, and Riven The Exile.

There are Certain champions who are part Skirmishers such as Jax Master of Arms and Kia'sa Daughter of the Void, part of their kit has a reward system

Then there is one Certain champion in the list but isnt what is called a "Healthy Skirmisher". Those who don't know, that champion is Master Yi The Wuju Master. Master Yi Kit, on paper, sounds like a Skimisher to a blunt, and after some time i had playing him and looking around the research on Skirmishers, i found to believe that Master Yi isnt healthy at all due to his playstyle and Kit, the only reward system he has is his Double Tap, which rewards him for doing damage and building on hit, both being vital to Master Yi's kit, HOWEVER, he has no reliant to make his kit excel to the role and class he has been put in. with that in mind, i develop some ideas that i been doing quite some post about, with good feedback i was able to establish a solid idea, but first i need to state out some problems about Master Yi. His DPS is way to high late game, his sustain and reward system as a whole is too weak, rework his W and change his Passive E to allow a different way of bringing in damage. his focus build should allow him to actually build some tank stats like Fiora would. his focus on build should be AS, AD and HP. recommending an example build closely to this idea item 3124 item 3149 item 3748 item 1419 item 3047 item 3091, a build like this should be nice and over all should have the damage and the right kit to do it.

Goals: Less Scaling More meaningful Rewards early game presence building some tank stats
