We at Riot we have been reading your feedback and realizing that nerfing numbers on a champion felt kinda underwhelming, we came up with a new idea to approach champions that are too viable in the meta. Remember when everyone was complaining about Blitzcrank being too strong? We gave him a Random slow on his W because we didn't know how to approach him even though all we needed to do is fix his Q hitbox but I guess that was too much coding for us. The community was happy that we gave that nerf to Blitzcrank soo we eventually made some change to other champion such as putting a delay for Veigar E, giving a cast time for Darius Q, 1.25 cast time for Nidalee Q and more.

People are tired of Seeing Viktor in the LCS soo we nerfed his E and found an excuse by saying that Viktor doesn't have Lane interaction. Soo people got mad because they could not clear waves anymore. But do not worry we fixed it in the mages update, now Viktor can clear waves without damaging Zed, to beginners friendly who just started playing Zed mid because of the AD itemization having too much Armor pen and the recent nerf to Seekers and the high cost on zhonya, they will have time to dodge his Second explosion on upgraded Viktor E.

Although these changes were lives on the PBE, we cannot help but to spectate a match between the newly reinvented Viktor E vs Zed. It seems that Zed had some insane mechanics because all he needed to do was to walk away from the laser and he would be able to dodge the Viktor E 2nd explosion. After 30min in the game Zed wasn't able to assassinate Tristana because she had QSS. Soo we decided to Nerf QSS to give some counterplay to that item. By Removing the Debuff, Qss would create no counterplay, thus making Zed useless late game.

When the Mage update will be released, we will keep an close eye to every champion and will nerf them according to their number of picks and ban. If a champion is too strong we will apply a gameplay pressure such as: Everyone minute Azir soldier will stop attacking for no reason. Kassadin will have a 1.25sec cast time on his R. Viktor will have a 2sec Delay on his Q. Anivia R will have a 2sec castime and a 1.25 duration.

Ps: Stop adding clunkyness to champions PLEASE. Every champion should feel smooth not Clunky.
