Are there going to be eventually more interesting tank items in tank roster?

So i heard about the new 2 upcoming items for tank roster which are Gargoyle Stoneplate & Adaptive Helm, but they aren't the most major interesting new items for the Roster, are these just beginings or that's all riot going to do for tanks?
