Hextech Chests have too many rules

why do i have to own the champion to earn a chest, i mean i can already earn champion mastery points of a champion i dont own so im asking riot to pls remove this insane MUST OWN CHAMPION rule for the hextech chests because i got a lot of s grades with champions i dont own but i didnt get a chest because i didnt have enough ip to ACTUALLY buy them and thats quite unfair in my opinion. come on who's with me ?
