Why is Riot changing the jungle again to a gank heavy meta? Gonna list some ideas to help.

People are complaining about the jungle and Riot has decided to nerf it. I'm by no means an amazing player, and these are common ideas that I share with a few people.

These are just tips, and not guaranteed ways of winning or gaining a lead.

  1. Take over their jungle: There is no way to fully take over the jungle early game, but if the meta is going to be gank heavy, then there is less time for the enemy jungler to take camps. They will also be on the map more often, so use this to your advantage.

  2. Take a more supportive role: Playing a tank or a supportive jungler like Ivern. Counter-gank or join the fiesta. You don't have to always carry to win. A tank can do wonders in a teamfight.

  3. Work on a different jungler: A new jungler can be just what you need to fit into the meta. Test out different junglers and play what you feel like is working. Perhaps dropping your one-trick could help (Don't take offense to this please).

  4. If you can't beat them, join them: Just play what other junglers are doing. Play what the meta says to play.

  5. Find a duo: Finding a good duo partner can help with your winrate, ignore people that call you bad or hardstuck for duoing. Having someone to talk to in-game can help you stay more positive. They will also be a reliable player that you can rely on if you don't know what to do.

  6. Enjoy the game: Remember this is a game, you don't have to play to grind out levels or LP. Have some fun with others.

Remember I am not a god or a good player. These are just some beliefs that I share with other people.

Short answer: for teh lulz Long answer: They hate seeing pro play junglers who farm too much and have less interactions with anyone.

Or what I do: ditch League and go play other games that are just more fun because League is not the only game in exsistance.

I already play in a way that you describe: exclusively in duo/groups, changing roles often (norms, ranked is flat out not fun atm), playing a ton of different champions AND the big one, I'm simply not having fun with the meta picks, which begs the question: why even play? So I don't.

I'm just going to wait for Riot to hopefully lower damage cause that is the crux of my issue: the ludicrous amouts of damage and true damage.

"changing"

implying it wasnt gank heavy role as it is now.

all they are doing is increasing the frequency so junglers get more options into ruining peoples games and making them suffer while pressing their red smite and getting free poke off.

i distinctly remember them saying they wanted to reduce the quantity of ganks and then releasing predator.

the balance team in itself is clueless and should not be given any amount of respect
