Matchmaking Rant... /question or suggestion
So I always thought that if I played well and won my lane that I should win at least 50% of my games. I literally just went 0 - 7... there were probably 2 where I lost lane because jungle had gotten ahead on other lanes and come my way, but the other 5 I was winning my lane. Most times I literally had 40+ CS lead on my counterpart. Really frustrating when I'm playing well but can't win to save my life because my team is loosing their lanes. I honestly don't even dare play ranked right now with the kind of tilt matchmaking has been handing me lately.
Also I've been noticing a trend in ranked games... Sometimes it just seems like teams aren't really matched well. The other day I noticed that number of ranked games in a season comes into effect quite often. If you count up the number of ranked wins on one team versus another team it often seemed to show why one side would win and the other wouldn't. Just last week I had several games where just one person on the enemy team had more combined wins than my entire team. Even though they are ranked in the same elo as the rest of us the amount of games and experience they have unbalances the scale. I've been keeping track of it and I've found a few times where I've been on teams with someone who quite literally just made it through their 10 games to see where they rank and the enemy team had 100s of wins more in total. Seems to me that the amount of total wins on team has should be balanced with the other team to avoid mismatches like this. going in with an inexperienced team with less than 500 total wins in ranked in a season versus a total of what was close to 2000 was something I'd rather avoid again in the future. I think certain additional parameters have to be considered for matchmaking.
