How does matchmaking work?
Why is there a Silver V + LVL 30 duo in my match in Silver 1? I would think if its a Silver V + lvl 30 duo, they would be matched with Silver V players?

- It doesnt.
THey're duo so that inflates there mmr a bit. The lvl 30 could be a smurf, and the Silver V may be have much higher mmr then that of there rank.
Not to uncommon to see this, especially in lower elos.
