Can We Do Something About Veigar Pls

Seriously this champ is just stupid on so many levels, riot keeps going on and on about "counterplay" when this champion stuns you for enough time to get blown up just by him with no chance to fight back. I can show multiple games where i get stunned by him and i just give up cause it doesnt matter if you are AP or AD you are gonna get killed in 1 shot. Which in my opinion is dumb for a champion who is supposed to do more damage vs. AP mages who maybe have a chance to stay away from the stun but melee assassins dont have that luxury. And some of you might say just zhonyas. Well you cant zhonyas while you're stunned believe me ive smashed it enough times when ive seen his ult mid air to realize there is no point.

Anyways riot saying they want everything to have "counterplay" i have yet to see anyone mention veigar, one of the most frustrating champions to play against because like nasus he scales into 1000 Ap by about 40 minutes and you're dead if you get stunned and thats just too bad. PLS Riot i would like to see you guys actually live up to your "counterplay" driven patches and do something about this champion.

because he as a counterplay send a tank to smack him or burst him down yes he is pesky cause he can 100 to 0 any squish but looking at all the champions there are some that need work more than veigar

Counterplay: Quicksilver into Zhomyas, or Banshees veil, or GA.

You know. The sane Counterplay that melee assassins always cite when people complain about getting 100-0ed.

You can counter him with some items, i.e item 3140 / item 3155 / item 3157 / item 3102 / late game revive after his burst combo > item 3026

Honestly, he is pretty squishy. Let the tank take him on, or if you have a fed assassin 9/10 they can 100-0 him pretty fast. Just make sure they initiate AFTER Viegar tosses his stun. Kassadin manhandles him, tbh.

He is powerful, sure, but also fairly short range for a mage. Use longer range champions like lux or Jinx to whittle him down. Also, if you end up inside the arena, don't bump into the edge. Just fire skillshots out while dodging incoming skill-shots until you can retreat.

If you have a decent long range stun Viegar is toast, so landing an Anivia Flash Frost or an Ashe Ult will usually result in his death if there is someone nearby to jump him. Heck, J4 can easily shrek Viegar, so if you want to counter pick use him.

It shouldn't surprise you that the god of burst damage does well against people without a lot of hitpoints. Veigar's counterplay for squishies involves not walking into his stun or letting him catch you with it. It's got a shortish range and a massive cooldown. If you're tanky, just go up and smack him, since you can survive his instaburst.

You buy an item against him. Zhonyas or/and banshees for apcs, Scimitar for adc. Tanks and bruisers dont need anything, they survive easily his full combo.

The most straightforward and easiest counterplay there is. If you say that you have issues in lane with him, then I suggest improving your laning skill because veigar is one of the easier champions to lane against
