I've been noticing this more and more lately. Most of my games seem to follow the following pattern.

Several of the enemy players all focus on dominating one lane with unnaturally good coordination, clearly using voice comms with their buddies to give themselves an unfair advantage over the solo players. It's usually bot lane that they group up on, but not always.

As the game goes on, either they manage to push that unfair advantage into a victory, or my team manages to hold out long enough to claw back into the game, at which point it becomes clear that the premade group are actually significantly worse players individually, which really shows in teamfights, and they start to quickly lose more and more ground until our team wins. Most of the games where this doesn't happen is because something similar is happening on my team - the premade group on my team does very well early, then do nothing much useful and lose us the game if it gets to late-game.

Those seem to be the only two ways that the majority of games go these days. A one-sided stomp caused by one team ganging up, often followed by a one-sided stomp the other way as the other team's voice-comm-powered coordination becomes less meaningful.
