Another Aatrox Rework - Changes in Aatrox.
Another Aatrox Rework:
Hey you! Tired of seeing topics about reworks in Aatrox? Tired of stomping in the early game and losing in the late game because the champion looks awful the way it is? Your problem is solved, because this topic will bring the solution! (lol)
Joking aside, this time I bring you "another" rework of Aatrox that I posted in the Brazilian forum, but this time is one that I definitely think Riot will do in a while, not exactly what I'm going to present here, but I think you understand .
The first rework I did posting to another account, but the way I did I not liked it, did not change much of the mechanics and just left very strong.
Now this one has changed a lot, like for example the Aatrox problem with its passive old Blood Well, where it was necessary to have it all full to have a decent attackspeed and if it did not, you hit so slow it was like having a Malphite from your side using the E of him always. It was the "punching bag" that is to die and come back to die again.
Discuss what you think of rework and tell what you would change in the current Aatrox.
I have a lot of reworks and champions that i created to show you guys, if you guys want to see, mainly the four guardians, based on Megaman Zero.
Attributes:
Health: 537.8 (+85 per level) > 540 (+90 per level) Range: 150 > 175 Attackspeed: 0.651 (+3% per level) > 0.650 (+3.3 per level)
These changes is to give Aatrox what was taken from the old skills and add what was missing, being the addition, more health.
Passive: Blood Well
When using a skill or hit three basic attacks on the same enemy, Aatrox stores the blood in your Blood Well. In addition, the spells of Aatrox deal additional magic damage based on the amount stored in your Blood Well.
Every third attack, Aatrox stores 50/72/94/116/138/160/182 (increasing every three levels) of health in your Blood Well, being the maximum of 105/260/415/570/725/880/1035 health. This effect has cooldown of 4.6/4.2/3.8/3.4/3 seconds.
Every 18/17/16/15/14 (scale with cooldown reduction) seconds, the next skill that Aatrox uses, will not cost health, instead it will cost the stored health of the Blood Well (however the damage based on the percentage of the Blood Well is applied to the current storage, in other words, before the Well of Blood is zeroed).
After using the health of Blood Well, Aatrox will gain a shield equal to the health stored in the Blood Well and more 30/40/50/60/70/80/90/90% attack speed for 3.5 seconds. Esse efeito tem tempo de recarga de 5/4/3/2 segundos (nos níveis 1/6/12/18).
Q: Dark Flight
Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 Cost of health: 10% of current health Range: 650 (cast range) / 225 (área of effect) / 75 (area of knock up
- Active: Aatrox dashes to the target area after a brieft delay, dealing physical damage of 70/115/160/205/250 (+60% AD BONUS) (+30% Blood Well), reducing movement speed in 30/35/40/45/50% for 2 seconds in the area of effect and knocking up all units in 1.5 seconds if hit at the center of the skill. While dashing, Aatrox becomes intangible, invulnerable causing the ability can not be canceled once activated.
Reaching enemy champions reduces the Dark Flying cooldown by 2 seconds for each champion, with a maximum of 10 seconds.
W: Blood Price
Cooldown: 6/5.5/5/4.5/4 Cost of Health: 8.5/16/24.5/32/40.5
Passive – Blood Thrist: Every 18/16/14/12/10 seconds, the next basic attack of Aatrox will heal 20/45/70/95/120 (+ 25% AD BONUS) (heal applied after damage done), doubled heal if it has lower of 50% maximum health. The cooldown is reduced by 1 second for each basic attack.
- Active: Aatrox utiliza o sangue em seu poço de sangue e Your two next basic attacks within 4 seconds deal additional magic damage of 25/50/85/120/155 (+ 100% AD BONUS) and each costs a small amount of health. A third attack deals magical damage based on 4/5/6/7/8% of health removed from the enemy, grants 30/35/40/45/50% of movement speed for 2 seconds and costs no life. (Limited to 300 against non-champions)
Attacking an enemy with the first two fortified attacks activates the Blood Well and grants Aatrox its benefits.
Price in Blood resets Aaatrox's autoattack timer.
E: Blades of Torment
Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 Cost of Health: 15/21/27/33/39 Range: 1000
- Active: Aatrox unleashes the power of his sword, dealing 75/110/145/180/215 (+ 60% AP) (+ 60% AD BONUS) (15% Blood Well) of magical damage to all enemies hit, slowing movement speed at 20/25/30/35/40% for 2 seconds and causing grievous wounds.
R: Massacre
Cooldown: 100/85/70 Cost of Health: No cost Range: 1000
- Active: Aatrox activates your Blood Well instantly and collects blood around its victims. Aatrox receives regeneration from all sources in 20%, deal physical damage in 1.5/2.5/3.5% of target maximum health (+ 2% per 100 AP) (+ 0.25% for every 10% Blood Well) (Applied before the resistances) over 5 seconds.
In addition, Aatrox fills 10% of the Blood Well for each enemy champion hit and a further 2.5% for every 0.20 seconds while near at least one enemy champion. Additional enemy champions fill fastest the Blood Well.
Summoners Spells:
- Indispensable for any champion.
- To win HARD the lane.
- Nowadays it's very good, because it has low cooldown.
- Good to get back on lane or give ganks on other lanes.
- Not bad, but not very good. It's situational, like when you face Yasuo or Zed on the lane, or have 4 AD in the enemy team.
- If you choose to go in the jungle. Now that smite heals when used on any monster, it helps even more the Aatrox in clean the jungle, not to mention that the jungle is much easier.
Items:
Core Items:
- With the 6% buff from current life to 8%, this becomes a great choice for Aatrox.
- With the standard 25% attack speed buff in the item, it's also great. In addition, it has synergy with the magical damage of Aatrox in its W and Passive.
Early Game:
- If the lanephase is good or if you think will win the lane.
- If you think you do not have much skill, if you have difficulties or is against a ranged champion.

- Against champions AD that has gross damage, type Renekton, Darius, Riven, Illaoi, etc.
Mid Game:
>
>
- Always buy. It gives a good sustain, attackspeed, and damage based on the current target's health, everything Aatrox needs.
>
>
- Always try to rush the item. If you can't buy, replace the others just below.
- Boots to run faster (lol).
- If it's against AP champion.
- If you want more wave clear.
Late Game - Final Build:
Or
- Buy Tabi Ninja if the enemy team has a lot of AD or champions dependent on basic attacks or Mercurial if they have too much AP or too much CC, even if the enemy team is not AP.
- With this build, Aatrox will inflict TONS of damage per second, while holding the front line of the enemy team and heal a lot because of Spirit Visage and his ultimate.
Situational items:
- Great item, even more for the price.
- This item should look good with the buffs that will come even in the current Aatrox. I tested against bots only.
- Very good item for duels that gives everything that Aatrox needs and more.
- If they have 3 or more AD of the enemy team.
Or
- If the enemy team had a very big tank. Kind
- Good to leave an advanced route while you help your team.
That's it.
