Ranked

So I have successfully reached level 30. Since then, I have played 7 games and lost all of them. I heard that the first 10 games or so matter most on which category you get into. There was about 1 game where I began feeding due to the fact that I've been AFK because my computer crashed. Players on my team constantly abuse me for dying a couple of times or so. I still play fine. I'm not that bad of a player. Though people tend to blame me. IM GONNA BE STUCK IN BRONZE IF I KEEP LOSING MY GAMES ;-; HALP

You shouldn't play ranked directly after reaching level 30.

I'd recommend waiting until you've played at least 300 Normal games and have several rune pages full of T3 runes.

This gives you time to learn what you are doing, how different champions and roles play, and accumulate experience and good habits.

A few realities.

  1. You just reached 30. A lot of players especially in ranked have played this game for years and have been 30 for a long time.
  2. This game has 130 or so champions, many items, making it pretty complex.
  3. Your 0-7 in placements. This honestly is probably for the best as your new and have things to learn. a.) you finish promos 3-7 and maybe get silver 5 or bronze. It really doesn't matter as starting is bronze would really be for your benefit. Bronze really be thought of as "inexperienced". It is a good place to help you focus on learning the game and teach the importance of carrying a game.
  4. "players on my team constantly abuse for dying". Sounds like you are making mistakes more than the average player and it is frustrating your teammates. Figure out what those mistakes are and you should not hear as much abuse. You can always mute players and should if people flamming. But since you sound really inexperienced your teammates might have some helpful tips.
  5. "I'm not that bad of a player". I think most of us think this, but in reality we are all pretty bad besides the pros and high elo players. If you can't win more games than you lose in ranked, then your definitely not good. And if you losing every ranked game then there is a lot you can learn and improve on to change that. Like.... a lot of players think "well I didn't feed" or "I won my lane" means they are good at the game. But that is only a small part to the game. You can easily win games you lose lane in or feed in and also easily lose games you are fed in or win lane in.
  6. "gonna be stuck in bronze if i keep losing". I think its preferable for players to really start out their ranked experience in bronze. I know back in season 2 & 3 I was bronze even after having like 1000 normal games played. But through playing ranked I finally actually started learning the game. I eventually learned enough to reach silver. Took awhile from there to learn enough to reach gold.
  7. Making this post was a good first step in taking initiative in learning the game. If your rank is important to you then actively learning the game, champions, etc is what you need to do to get better. Once you do you will find winning games easier and see your rank rise. But there is no magic "spam this one champion while hitting control + 6 all game" to magically rank up.

Good luck. Don't be too hard on yourself no matter what your rank is. Realize ranked is a process and grinding is part of it.

I feel your frustration ): I went directly into ranked right after I hit level 30 and I placed Bronze 3. Unfortunately it's a little late but you should have waited longer until you have a main position with a champion pool consisting of several champions that you can play really well. What I would recommend is going back to normals for a little bit and finding someone you can duo with, preferably a Jungler, or a support if you main ADC. Good luck climbing! I'm almost Silver 2 after a month of climbing from Bronze 3, 0LP. Hang in there. (:
