AP Twitch, can it be a thing?!

I was curious if Twitch could be viable AP, seeing as his Contaminate is the only skill that scales off of it. My findings; Build: Sorc Boots, Nashors, Hurricane, Morellos, Lyandris, Rabadons. Yielding 569 (with AP runes & masteries...idr exactly what I took) His Contaminate scales 80dmg + 35 (AP, which happened to be 114) per stack Stacks: 1(229), 2(458), 3(687), 4(916), 5(1145), & 6(1374) Stats: 1.88 atk spd (2.36 after Q activated) 40% cd (resulted in a 4sec Contaminate & a 9sec Q) 100 dmg 569 ap

What are your thoughts? Anything I could do to improve my build? What are other champions that are fun to play AP that aren't naturally AP?

Twitch's secondary role is Assassin and I think if you wanna emphasise him that way you definitely need to go in that direction.

His burst damage comes from a quick application of Venom and the use of Contaminate. So you definitely want AS and either AP or AD. Despite the slightly lower ratio, AP adds more damage, because it's generally easier to get. Considering this is an ability focussed build cdr doesn't hurt either.

So item 3115 is a perfect item for him, not to mention it also improves his AP ratios in general.

I think if you wanna go AP though you need more items that abuse AP, like item 3100 and item 3146

item 3085 because it synergises with the Venom/Contaminate combo and it reloads Gunblade. He got some mana issues though if you play him that way. So item 3165 or item 3174 is needed.

Sicne you are doing tripple damage I wouldn't worry too much about penetration (hybrid pen runes and mastery perhaps) use the boots for defense item 3047 item 3111

This is replaces about 129 AP with 40 AD, so you loose some damage on contaminate, but I think you gain a more on Spellblade and Gunblade, you also do more on AA.

The sustain and slow from Gunlbade should come in quite handy as well.

i tried AP twitch in ARAM the thing with him is that he needs attack speed so rushing a nashors first is a must, i kinda messed around with hextech gunblade and liandry(i think morellos would fit better) his damage was surprisingly good
