Same boat with you on this one. I have had 5 games so far where either my ENTIRE team or more than half of it as nothing but bots. There are 2 big named accounts that are bots that I saw over and over and over again while playing it. Its getting to where I don't even want to continue to play League.
What it is, is that whole "bot account" thing that certain people in the community are doing to exploit and abuse the "refer a friend" program. They create dummy accounts and get the accounts a few champions. Then set them to auto-run so it looks like an actual person is playing the games, but when you actually get into the games. Yeah then you know.
I've also noticed a pretty easy and predictable pattern to them to help identify the more common bots.
- They insta-lock a champion in que
- Do not respond to other players
- In game they all head bottom
- Actually run into the turret and come to a complete stop before taking it over
- Do not engage the enemy under any circumstance
- Charge straight for a turret regardless of it firing on them or not or if enemy champions are around
- Have nearly a 3 second delay in action after a respawn, this includes purchasing of items
- Do not help allies with abilities, auto-attacks, items, or summoner spells
- All of them typically have ghost and heal as their preset summoner spells. Which are typical basic spells for novice accounts.
Again these are the typical game behavior patterns for bots from what I have observed in my games with them. The favorite champions for auto lock tend to be Shyvana, Gangplank, Quinn, Annie, and Lux......though I'm sure many other people have seen other champions as well.
