Playing alongside new LoL players
Hey guys,
Lately I've been trying to convince a few of my friends to take up the game, and I think I've almost got them over the line. The one thing that's really making me hesitate though is how it's actually going to work...
I'm very conscious of how demoralizing having to play against smurfs can be for a new player with no history with LoL (or MOBAs in general) and I don't want my friends to get stuck in this trap. From what I understand, the system actually does a decent job of separating smurfs and actual new players into separate queues, but I also want to be able to play a few games with them myself, I think us playing together will make it more enjoyable for them.
So really, my question is whether playing with my friends, on either a smurf of my own, or on my main account, will get them relegated to some hell where they're playing against smurfs forever, or whether when I leave them to their own devices they'll be allowed to rejoin a normal queue with other new players. I want them to have the best experience possible so they're more likely to enjoy the game and play it for longer, and getting stomped every game by aggressive smurfs who abuse them in chat for being "noobs" won't achieve that.
Thanks for any help, Caldera
