Seeing split push comps in bronze more than any other season

Do other ranks experience this?

What I mean is that I am seeing games where team fighting and kills seems to have less impact in a game when a team loads up on champs with wave clear speed and mobility. I used to see champs like Tryndamere, Teemo, Jax just push a lane in even if they die. They just come back and start all over again. Now I see so many supports and tanks do it (I've seen Zyra so many times pushing lanes hard, or any tank with hydra). Not that it isn't a good strategy (any strat that wins is a good one), but the dynamic seems to be a function of how little players want to work with each other in Bronze and especially the trust involved in participating in a team fight. I've seen so many games now where my team, or their team get aced several times, then one champ will push bot, one top and 2 or 3 will jump back and forth while a team with a legit tank and support (who typically cannot clear waves well) are trying desperately to put out the tower fires. Lane pressure is an important part of the game, and I would think this is a good thing, but I am curious what others think about this development. Is it a function of the ranks, or is it a function of the class/role/item changes?

In my opinion "just grouping as 5" does not really constitute "working as a team". Grouping as 5 is probably the least demanding rotation ever. Splitpushing requires smart rotations that should be made aware of the most pressing objectives and quick reactions to not get caught.

Yeah, 1-3-1 is just way too hard in my opinion. Teams that do this usually have Zed/Riven and it really doesn't work that well because they just get caught and surrender objectives. Meh, wouldn't recommend in soloQ.

Splitpush is just hard to answer imo. And I am a solid bronze player so I can say I have seen myself and my team throw so many games to splitpushers.

Oh lets all group mid and ignore that guy top... who is not at inner... who is not at inhib. Oh ok inhib is gone. This even happens when I play normals with my Plat ranked friend on top lane. Like dude go manage your lane. But people either send too many resources for nothing or send no resources and lose it. And it all matters on the pace of the game if your team can fight 4v4 or not etc. But it is tough especially without comms.

Also, since splitpushing only takes one champ. I imagine some players see Oh that guy destroyed our inhib and base by himself. So more people remember him and pick that champ up over the teamfight guys who don't stand out.

I find this is the default when 1-2 (or more obviously) players on your team suck (or are trolling, have given up, etc). Basically, if you have a player that CAN'T handle a 1v1. Or a team that WILL lose 3v3 or ANY even matchup, then you're screwed. Because your options are: -Overload a lane to beat the enemy with numbers, during which time the split push is killing your other lanes, usually because you can't kill fast enough because of your liabilities -Hold the side lanes while watching your liability players lose/feed and basically you bleed out in the lanes you're not holding

Basically, Riot has made the game so snowbally, that 75 - 80% of the time (at LEAST) once one enemy lane gets a decent lead, you're basically screwed unless one of your lanes has a comparable lead. If you have 2 lanes "holding even" at the 10 minute mark, but the 3rd lane is down 2-3 kills, then you're PROBABLY boned. The exception case is if someone on your team just has an exceptional later game champ and your team can "hold" in midgame (or your enemies "throw" obviously). But if your team can't slow/stop a push with even numbers, then forget it.
