Can we Talk About Cho, for a Sec?

Alrighty ya'll-- So here I am, Orianna Orianna mid, right? There's a Cho mid lane. I know about Cho, I've seen him...but never have I faced him mid (I'm new to mid. Bot lane main). I've played him once. But wasn't for me. So why am I writing to you?

Level 5 I look at his AP and HP. It's double than mine. I did not die at this point.

He got his spikes first at level one, and although I think I am farming well and poking him, I notice my HP is pretty low. The spikes. They have range. Things get tricker and I crack a health pot. Later on it seems impossible to do much. He has twice as much CS because I can't get too close to him, if I do he silences me or knocks me up when I try to get distance.

All I'm saying is that for me, or other mages mid lane, it's silly to go up against a champion who has so much AP and health. It's almost impossible.

I think we should give the spikes a mana cost, so at least one of his abilities isn't as harmful. He has a overpowered passive in general. The passive on the spikes gives him a range AND a buff??? That's just madness. And literally hard to deal with.

The toggle thing isn't good. Make it a regular use ability, OR If you will keep it that way, please have it cost mana, like Singed's poison trail. Or reduce the range and just buff his aa. He has too many buffs in hit kit, and it's pretty hard to deal with for mages.

He got more AP than you because he had different runes or masteries. Nothing to do with the champion. And he has more HP than you because he is melee.

Best thing you can do against him is to start item 2041 and farm. Don't try to kill him by poking, his passive makes him resistant to that tactic.

Additionally, if you get hit too much by the Void Spikes, you should position yourself better - good positioning and dodging is one of the key things to do in a Cho lane. If you're playing a ranged champion, you should hardly be affected by Spikes if you position well enough.

Tbh cho mid is one of the most unfun things to play against due to his insane damage on mages and sustain.

Cho can be poked, actually you hsould focus on preventing him from farming, also you should know his game pattern to avoid getting caught by his Q. Prevent him from farming and use your autos, that will help you to win the lane, also remember to use a Liandry.

Also if his Q is on cooldown, just mess him up, attack him.
