Surrenders and draws

Two simple ideas:

A surrender can be called after 10 minutes if the entire team agrees.

A draw can be called if 4+ members of both teams agree to one after X (please discuss) minutes.

Why not let surrendering be available at 10 minutes since it requires 4 out of 5 players to actually surrender? What's that single optimist gonna do for the team? Carry 4 people who have already thrown in the towel?

Please elaborate on the conditions in which both teams might want to call a draw. I can not at this time think of one.

how about a draw if after 90 min no one has won?

Who would call a draw, one team wins the other loses it's as simple as that.

And you'd have to be pretty bad to all ff at 10 minutes.

The only fair situation for a Draw is if someone does not connect or disconnects / AFK's. This would be fair to say that neither team wins, because all players are not present to complete the match, so therefor the match should be called.

However, you know that people will abuse this to prevent a loss, just like they Q dodge in champ select. SOOOOOOOO.....there is no point in a draw button, because people wont give up free wins and they cant tell if the guy on your team that afk'd or dc'd didnt do it on purpose so why should they give up their ladder points?

it is what is man..accept the loss and move on to the next game.

I see the only time a draw call would ever be used is if one team has an afk and the other team is courteous enough to call a draw so that the unfair match up can end without the disadvantaged team losing lp. But the 20 min mark should stay for surrenders
