Ranked system being trash

Do y'all think if you are low tiers(bronze&silver) that the next season should go off your previous rank. I feel as if it shouldn't. Climbing is a long and hard journey especially being in low tiers cause of how short tempered and toxic alot of these lower ranked guys are. Two seasons ago i ended silver 5 or 4 and i didn't mind i mean once i hit silver i stopped playin' ranked cause it was hard to get out of bronze. Then the next season it went off previous season ranks and even just winnin' around 5 promos i got bronze 5...... Thas such along and hard climb out. I've done it before. But its just so much energy to get out of. The game should wanna motivate people to climb. Not see you were bronze last season then even though you went 7-3 on placements get placed back into bronze. It should reward you fro playin' and doin' well. This type of system discourages people who are actually trying to get into a higher rank they deserve. It makes someone not want to play league cause the rank system is so trash. Then now that you are now bronze you gotta try hard again and get teammates who just feel so discouraged also and they don't wanna give it 100% cause they know that even if they do get out of bronze and the season ends and they end up silver 4 or 3 then next season they lose all that and now are back into bronze and now have to try and climb and struggle all over again cause the rank system doesn't reward you for all the hard work you put to get out of bronze. Put months into it. So many hours to get out. But it doesn't mean anything. For the higher tiers it might be a good system but all around it isn't. It invites challenge for high level tiers. But fro low tiers it discourages. I don't know. Maybe some like it. But its a pretty trash system to be that way in my opinion. i know someone is gonna say my opinion doesn't matter but im sure there is someone who might agree.
