Mono Audio for Ingame
I have unilateral hearing loss, which means I can only hear out of one ear. If you could make a setting for ingame to choose mono audio, it would be very beneficial not only to me, but probably other people who have hearing problems/loss.
There have been multiple times where I would miss something crucial to the game, just because the sounds that go through my headphones, don't get to me. Sometimes I get team mates that don't ping they need help so I don't get to notice what would be going on. I try to be map aware the best I can, but I can't have my eyes glued to it.
For example, say I'm playing mid lane, and there's a fight between the two junglers in the dragon riverside, no one pings. Normal hearing people can sometimes hear the fight going on. I cannot. I've noticed things like this happening the more I play, too.
Even though there probably aren't that many people who play this game that have hearing loss, I'm sure adding this option would be beneficial to those who do. It would keep me more aware of the surroundings of the game.
Also, if you can hear out of both of your ears, I don't recommend using mono, if it gets implemented. The way the sound works now is you can hear what's going on to the left and right of you, depending on which ear receives that sound. The way mono audio works is all noise goes through both headphones pieces. Using it, you'd have to spend half a second to figure out where the noise is coming from.
I'd rather spend that half a second, than not know at all or until it was too late.
Thanks for reading, and if you care, please up-vote. It's not a big change to a lot of people, but it is a small crucial change that I would like to see happen.
