Camile To Broken to not be Perma-Banned?

I have been watching her game play on PBE and came to the conclusion.

Her abilities in lane are just ridiculously mixed with true dmg, high burst, super long range, mobility, attack speed, healing, %health dmg converted as magic dmg on-top of a combo Q that can receive sheen procs.

If anything this champion will be added to everyones Perma-Ban List, and it will free up other bans that are in priority now and we will see a lot more Talon and Katrina / Darius's being played.

IMO bad time to introduce a extremely broken champion without balancing the currently reworked champions.

Am i completely wrong here? what does the community think?

Camille isn't really broken, what you are seeing on PBE is a bunch of people playing Camille vs Camille 99% of games because she's permanently banned on ranked there. Mostly every game where she's picked is a Blind Draft where you have a troll team comp, unless the players are in a full 5 man queue. It's just about impossible to judge much of anything from the PBE honestly because of that. I have a feeling (from having used the champion myself) that she's not as strong as people would think.

  1. Majority of Camille's damage is from auto attacks [Useless against Teemo].

  2. Her only crowd control effects are both gap closers which are blockable by Poppy and preventable by ANY CC. Even a Riven or Irelia stun will stop her hook shot from stunning you.

  3. She can easily be knocked out of her Ultimate by champions like Lee Sin, Hecarim, Poppy, and Janna.

  4. Her abilities are so much more difficult to land than it appears. After you play her it becomes apparent rather quickly that you really have to position yourself well in order to land the stun from the second portion of her hook shot. Reality is that if you are on the outer edge of the range, you can dodge her stun simply by walking on any champion.

  5. Camille uses an insane amount of mana in the early portion of the game.

  6. Camille lacks the damage to kill basically any champion stacking armor early on. Amumu, Darius, Maokai, Poppy, and other champions that can get fairly tanked up quickly are nearly impossible for her to kill. Granted Camille does get the percent health damage from her W and her R however W has a long cool down and can't be maxed early (or she lacks the mobility / damage from E) and her ultimate she won't have access to until level 6.

Basically, she's never going to 'catch on' as a viable top laner (unless used as a counter pick). Any lane bully like Poppy, Renekton, Darius, etc. will tear her a new one. In team fights Camille is actually useless unless shes VERY far ahead (like 1+ items on her enemies) and even then she's treading dangerous grounds against enemies who can deny her hook shot stun or ultimate (Lee Sin / Alistar). You can almost guarantee that she'll never be used in the LCS / Competitive scene because of this.

It's on the PBE for feedback from the players. Don't expect the champion to be released overpowered.

Literally everyone says that about literally every champion at literally any given goddamn time.

Every new champion that has ever been released has been insanely overpowered. Camille seems to be no exception. Somehow she seems to be even more overpowered than new champions typically are.

That said, new champions are also always permabanned for the first month, so yes she will be permabanned just like new champions always are.

Then after a month or 2 she will be nerfed like every other new champion. Sometimes they get the nerf right, sometimes they overnerf, and sometimes its still OP.
