Will Keystone Masteries Confuse Fights?
So with all the updates coming in preseason, one has caught my eye: Keystone Mastery. I'm sure most of you have seen or heard about them, but if you haven't then the gist is this. There are 9 possible keystones at the end of the mastery trees which each provide a unique buff (i.e absorb damage for a teammate, do AOE damage for no particular reason, etc.). The idea is that each decision you make is more 'unique' and 'game-changing'. I am all for this and the update seems cool to me, however if my enemies are going to be running random 'game-changing' masteries then I would like to know about it. Whether or not your enemy will be getting a random ghost buff or ravenous hydra passive proc could easily change whether you win or lose a fight, and as of right now, there is no easy way to check your enemies masteries in game. This leaves me slightly spooked, because you won't know what to expect until you've already committed (especially for all you junglers out there who won't be simply watching the opponents lane and figuring out what they are running). I think that it should be made a thing that each champion has their keystone displayed like a buff (you know, like the little squares by your champion info that show random things like how many stacks chogath has, or how much gold tf has swindled). This way you could easily check what game changer your enemy has and be ready for it when you fight. Thoughts?
