Lee sin is NOT overloaded.

People need to stop spamming buzzwords and realize what they mean, the case with lee sin is actually worse than being overloaded.

So first of all what is an overloaded champion? An overloaded champion doesn't have much of an identity, you can't really say "This is the main strength of X champion" when X is overloaded, you also can't say "This is the main weakness of champ X"(or perhaps the weaknesses is heavily reliant on a small number of counterpicks) if X is overloaded,he's just strong all around, his "weaknesses" being easy to go around using the rest of his kit(thus not really being weaknesses).

The most obvious example of an overloaded champion is,yes, you've guessed it: Thresh. Having pretty much everything you would want a support to have, and even being able to have sustain with face of the mountain, when this champion is strong there's very little reason not to pick him, hence the problem with overloaded champions-they cause a stale game, there really is no reason just not to pick that champion one game after another, unless overpowered you can still have a fair matchup against them, but it gets boring if you let them dominate for long, and if you nerf them they tend to just fall into obscurity,as there will generally be better picks.

It's worth noting that this is similar to "ball of stats" champions who once again: if their numbers are high enough, can just be spammed every game, and if their numbers drop a bit, there's just no reason to pick them anymore.

So okay,if lee sin isn't overloaded, what are his strengths? what are his weaknesses? what is his niche? Well it's quite obvious: early game pressure+pick potential, his weaknesses are mobile champions(who are hard to get a pick on) and mid/late game junglers who will outscale him if he fails to capitalize on his early game pressure.

Now this raises the question: "If lee is countered by mobile champions who are hard to pressure, why is he still all over the place? especially in the competitive scene where mobile champions are everywhere?" Well the answer is rather obvious: What do you think happens when you take a niche champion and overtune him to the point he is effective against his own counters? -The meta evolves to the point everything he counters just dies off,and he appears balanced in a scene which is aimed at being able to stand a chance against him,it is no coincidence that when tanks dominated the jungle we saw a lot of immobile champions seeing playing, and it is no coincidence that when they went away, and carry junglers(spearheaded by lee sin,of course) now dominate the meta again, these champions pretty much completely left with them.

Lee sin is not overloaded,he is overbearing, because I don't care how supposedly hard you fall off lategame, the ability to jump an entire screen in a second chained into dragging your opponent half of a screen all the while taking away half of their hp pool is complete and utter bullshit. I don't care if he is high skillcap,I don't care if in lower elos people are mostly bad at him,and I can live with his mains being mad at losing the broken playstyle they got addicted to.

Either make him the niche pick that he is,and make him pay a PROPER price for how he shits on immobile champions,or completely rework him,It's great that he has a dedicated playerbase but you can't just let him(and to a lesser extent his buddies) choke the meta again.

I honestly have no problem with him. His entire kit revolves around hitting a skillshot. That takes enough skill right there to warrant his kit

Still not sure why Lee can build semi-tanky and still have his ult deal 1k damage at rank 3. Oh wait, randomly a 200% bonus ad scaling. Ok...

Only problem with lee i have is his ult. Too damn strong in too many ways. Rest of his kit is fine imo. Granted i find him an overall in-general pain in my ass to play against :/ but that isn't balance related.

The only thing I find utterly ridiculous is that random ass 200% AD Scaling on his ultimate. It's just a kick, no reason for it do so much damage.

I haven't had a problem with Lee Sin since s4 which was the time he was completely overpowered, he's been fine after that, the only overloaded thing could be his ultimate, but compared to other ultimates it's not even that overloaded.

People call Lee Sin overloaded yet Vi has 10 times the powerbudget Lee Sin has. Atleast Lee Sin has counterplay.
