Understanding Long Range Skillshots 4 Idiots

It's impossible to be prepared for these at all times. A lot of snipes (check youtube for compilations) are fired blindly into the FoW after predicting enemy movement. No different than throwing a hail mary bomb. Most of the time the pass is incomplete, but when it's a touchdown... it's amazing!

Saw a conversation with a guy basically telling another guy to "git gud" and this was going to be my response. Instead of posting it, I decided to copy and give this its own post to enlighten all whom reside in the dark.

What if Ezreal fires it from his fountain (not possible to ward) while your team is doing baron/dragon? You get your faces whacked off without warning. Global means it can be fired from anywhere and it's damned hard for Ez to miss if fired from the back of a lane.

What about level 6 - 8 early game? You get into a fight top/mid/jg and get sniped (blindly) while recalling? There are literally hundreds of youtube videos where they blindly fire long range abilities and pick off an enemy.

Even if you kill Ez bot lane level 6 and think it's ok to finish off a wave or 2... sniped. Even if you recall he might just randomly fire one at fountain and kill you before the heal takes place. Happens a lot more often than you'd imagine.
