I thought I wanted Positional Ranks - PRACTICAL Issues

The premise of positional ranks is great. The new system has the potential to improve match making and to make autofill games more fair.

However, when I get autofilled myself, it feels WAY worse. I don't mind playing a different role to the best of my ability. What I do mind is not getting rewarded similarly for my main rank. I don't want +5 splash or whatever it is. I want the full weight of LP I would gain normally.

Otherwise, it doesn't feel worth it. I am not motivated to play it. I simply dodge almost every autofill game and the thing is, I DO WANT TO PLAY THEM. I just don't want the small reward given. I have no interest in taking my autofill role to the same rank as my primary.

When someone actually sets a different role in match making, it makes sense to have a separate rank and LP gain but if I'm just randomly autofilled, maybe there is a way to still give normal LP gains/losses even if the MMR is different. Perhaps the same can happen with a secondary role. I just don't want to be put in games that don't maximally affect my primary rank. It's not about playing an alternate role. It's about feeling like I'm getting full impact from the game.
